The Original family has lived all over the world. Literally, after more than 1,000 years, they’ve probably visited every possible city in the world … or at least the interesting ones. But it’s New Orleans that they now call home. However, the show shoots in Georgia, on a series of numerous beautiful, impressively elaborate sets.

While EW was on set, Originals star Phoebe Tonkin took us on a quick set tour through the Mikaelson compound, Hayley’s new apartment, the wardrobe department, and more. Now’s your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at how the show creates New Orleans every week.
