Just a few months after moving to LA, the Sydney brunette has landed a prime time TV gig, playing a teenage witch in a series called The Secret Circle, from the creators of The Vampire Diaries and Dawsons Creek.
“I’ve been really lucky,” Tonkin told The Sunday Telegraph.
Back in Sydney to visit her family before production begins on the new series, the girl from Mosman was beaming with delight.
